I have attempted to use the app store for mac however I found that there were no applications that were main stream such as:
Adobe Illustrator
Microsoft Office
The Sims
Steam
...
The end result is that I have yet to purchase any apps on the app store. Has anyone else had success with it?
I feel foolish for asking but on my new i7 MacBook Pro, I noticed that it only shows 4 processor threads. It was my understanding that because of hyper-threading that there should be a total of 8 threads, I am right?
We installed Office 2011 on one of our new iMac's and after we did this, it casued some problems with fonts. At the same time, Safari started showing this same font.
We have cleared all user installed fonts which fixed Safari however not Outlook.
Any ideas what's happening here?
I'm looking to setup a public DNS Server on Mac OS X but there seems to be an access control list that only allows clients on the local network to be able to do DNS lookups. How can I remote this?
I baught SC2 and installed it on my 15" MacBook pro with a 2.8GHz core 2 duo processor.
Does it make sense that it takes up 50-100% CPU? The moment I start the game, it starts at 50-80% and once I start playing, it maxes out the CPU entirely.

I'm setting up an iPad and it's giving me an odd problem. App Store doesn't work while I'm connected to WiFi however if I disable WiFi and let it soley run off 3G, I'm fine.

I have used rsync to copy a massive amount of files from one network attached storage to my computer. The problem is that the files aren't showing in the GUI however the files are there and I can see them in the terminal.
Is there a way to get Finder to refresh the view of the folder?
I've read somewhere that SSD drives slow down after a while and they need to be rejuvenated. I can't seem to find the article anymore though.
First of all, I feel I need to ask whether that's true. Second, if it is true, what is a good piece of software that rejuvenates my drive?

I uninstalled Xcode. Something to do with Xcode stopped working and it killed my iPhone syncing. If it doens't work, let me know.
