OK the sucker's installed but it's not working right. When a CD is inserted, it gets read by the drive (the busy indicator lights on the drive, disc spins, drive makes noise) but the CD doesn't appear on the desktop and eventually the CD gets spit out. I tried several different CDs and DVDs...

just downloaded the os x drivers for this old hp 882c. installed ok but i'm getting stuck at the Printer List window b/c it won't auto "discover" the printer and I have no idea what the IP addy is to enter it manually... What exactly should I do here? thanks, bradelectro
