Why: This tool by Patrick absolutely changed my life! I'm a web designer and when ever I work on a project I set up a virtual host on my test computer for all the testing before uploading to the production server. When I was first trying to figure out how to set up vhosting, it seemed so complicated. Then it was so tedious to set it up and one typo can host the whole system (and I did it more than once).
Enter Patrick Gibson's virtualhost script. Now I just run his schell script an wala in 2 seconds I've got a new vhost complete with directory. When I'm finished, I run it again and it removed the vhost and the directory (optional).
This tool is a must have for any web dev/designer!!!! ::love::
