nixgeek, On my system I am unable to find GCompris as one of the available packages to install using Fink (Using Fink 5.4 on OS X 10.3.9) spb, I am unable to find the vorbisfile file. "find / -name libvorbisfile.a -print" yeilds to nothing. I don't know where to obtain this library...

I don't know what -lvorbisfile option is for. Do you know how I can get around the above mentioned errors :(
