The answer I found is the wonderful piece of software called pacifist, You can pull out the installers for selected softwares out of the apple install disks
The problem with the above website is the fact that the version included with Jaguar is newer than that one. Of course, I would like the Jaguar version.
I installed 10.2 a while a go. At the Time, I did not have a DVD drive installed. As a result, the DVD player software was not installed. I then did an upgrade to 10.2.2
When I try to reinstalled 10.2 to get the DVD software installed, it will not install on the same drive.
So my question...
Yeah Im trying to do the sane things. My guess is this after having read the man page for mount_udf
BUGS

that the Mavica disks are possibly UDF 2.0 or this service is not started at startup. We need a unix geek to help on this one.
to use your mavica in OS X, turn the USB connect mode on your camera to PTP. You can do this under the settings mode. It should then pop up when you plug it into the USB. into iPhoto or Image Capture or whatever. It will not on the otherhand, appear on your desktop as a disk. I dunno why it...
yes I knew about the name thing, but how do you run the programs once they are compiled. typing a.out didnt seem to work for me as a I am accustomed to.
