Sounds like a conflict of some sort. Try changing your extension set to load just the MacOS minimum (no 3rd party extensions or CPs). If it boots up without a prob, then you know it was one of the 3rd party dealies. You can then turn on the rest of the extensions and CPs one by one untill you...
