Hi, There is at last a driver for the Photo 750. You can download it from: ftp://ftp.epson.fr/pub/fr/pilotes/jetencre/mac/sp750x.sit Although this is a french site, the driver works fine in English. Andrew Montague www.draiochtweb.com

    DVD in G3 B&W tower

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but if you are not able to play DVD's with your B+W G3, you need to update to the latest DVD player and OS X 10.1 (preferably 10.1.2). It works well on my B+W G3. Andrew Montague www.draiochtweb.com

    OSX PPP Stall Problems

This is a well known bug that has been around since 10.0.0. Seemingly Apple is aware of the problem but has not been able to find a fix. There is some up-to-date information in this thread http://forums.macnn.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=46&t=002156 Andrew Montague...

    Hack for Epson Printer Drivers

At my first attempt I couldn't get the printer recognised in the print centre, but then I changed the names of any file within the new "SP750.plugin" package that contained SC760 to SP750. Now my Stylus 750 shows up in the print centre. However, when I try to print from any OS X app, the...

    Hack for Epson Printer Drivers

Macfixit has a link to this article http://www.xdck.com/ss2500.html which describes how to hack a driver for various Epson printers including the Stylus Color 1160 (A3+), Stylus Color 670, Stylus Color 875DCS and Stylus Photo 750. I've not been able to get my Stylus Photo 750 working. Anyone...

    Html & Php Editor

It's hard to beat BBEdit. There is a light version for free, but the Pro version, which has just been updated is terrific. The Pro version will automatically colour code your html, php and any stylesheets that you use, and there is a great built in syntax checker. Both the lite version and...

    Its Back. (ppp issues)

It happens on my B+W G3 350 MHz with standard Apple G3 internal modem. I haven't noticed it happening more often after sleeping, but I haven't looked out for that either. Andrew Montague

    Hyperlink Text color change..., possible?

I agree. Using the standard link colours of blue for unvisited links and purple for visited links would suit the colour scheme you're using and make the site so much easier to use. Andrew Montague

    Its Back. (ppp issues)

I've disabled verbose logging in the PPP options (on the ppp tab) of the network control panel. Since doing this, I've not had the problem. However, as the problem is intermittent, it's difficult to say whether this is really a solution. Andrew Montague

    Its Back. (ppp issues)

I have the same problem. I didn't always have it. It started happening relatively recently. Maybe after upgrading from 10.0.3 to 10.0.4? I'm using a standard Apple modem. I've tried changing some options in my PPP control panel, but because the problem is intermittent, it's hard to know...

Vote on the color of this site!

Could you use standard link colours i.e. underlined blue links that turn purple when visited. It is difficult to tell the difference between a visited and a new link. That would make the site a lot easier to use. The blue links would stand out well against the orange. Andrew Montague

    Startup Disk Problem

I have a similar problem. I have a B+W G3 and the computer restarts repeatedly if I hold the option key when starting up. I have reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled OS 9 and OS X on separate partitions, but the problem persists. I also find that the startup disk preference crashes under OS...
