Can any tech tools users answer this: I have created an edisk using tech tools 4 in OSX 4.3. How would I start up from ther disk in the event that OSX 4.3 were to fail? I had a problem with OSX a while bakc and the edisk did not automatically mount. I had to restart with the tiger DVD. Thanks.

If norton utilitites is a problem in system 10.4 is there some other disk utilitiy program i should have or is Apple's disk utility sufficient?

I just tried it and it worked fine. Classic said it had to update some system files and asked my permission. It did so and started up as usual.
