Can any tech tools users answer this:

I have created an edisk using tech tools 4 in OSX 4.3. How would I start up from ther disk in the event that OSX 4.3 were to fail? I had a problem with OSX a while bakc and the edisk did not automatically mount. I had to restart with the tiger DVD. Thanks.

Boot holding down the Option key and you will be presented with a list of the bootable partitions on the HD including TechTool Pro's eDrive. Select the eDrive and click on the right pointing arrow and you are in business.

By-the-way be sure your version of TechTool Pro is up to date. The current release is 4.0.6 and no previous version of TechTool Pro should be used with OS X 10.4.3. Earlier versions of TTP can actually damage the OS X 10.4.3 file system. Similarly no version of DiskWarrior prior to 3.0.3 should be used.
