Wow that looks just scarey to me, what happenes when you crank on that lever and something isn't lined up just right? There go you're ports or the dock connectors. No thanks not for me, not a big deal anyway with a Bluetooth mouse and Airpot extreme. The only thing I usually need to plug in is a...
Central PA here, I've redeemed about twenty so far. By the way if you tilt a 20oz bottle just right you can look up through the side plastic and see if you have a winner before you buy it. Just don't make it too obvious what you're doing. :D
I installed Mozilla and it displays BMPs in web pages no problem using the same helper QuickTime Plugin.plugin picture viewer. I reported the bug. It is a bug, why can Mozilla do it but Safari can't with the same options?
Let me get this right. I'm browsing Ebay and everytime I...
I agree 100% I'd never use a .bmp on any web page I'd ever build, but the problem comes in trying to see stuff on Ebay or some other auction, forum or whatever where some idiot just has to use .bmp or dosen't know how to convert. Unfortunately I find myself turning to my PC to look at stuff...
In Safari I get a blank placeholder and in IE I get a stupid symbol where the .bmp is supposed to be. If I copy a .bmp from the web it opens a blank placeholder. WTF is up with that? Help
There's nothing on the machine that can identify anything about me. I initialized the full HD in it right before I sold it and only installed 9
Even if the person I sold it to reads these very forums and manages to guess at things, it's unlikely that they could guess both a username and password .
I may be wrong on this but I think you're comparing formatting too much to PCs. Every HD I've partitioned and "initialized" with Panther or Jaguar has been done with blazing speed. I think after you partition the system just needs to allocate the free space not actually write some mysterious...
So like an idiot I sold a machine that was authorized for iTunes.
I'm not worried about the machine I sold, it was reinitialized and only OS 9 installed. However it's ID or whatever Apple keeps on file must still be there, I've gone through my machines and can only authorize two at one time...
I have the same Book and just did it with no trouble. Of course this is a fresh install today also though. I also use auto-login, I hate multiple user machines too much of a headache. Maybe you had some pre-exsisting problem that didn't show up until you did this update.
Maybe it's just preceived, I know the first thing I do when I buy or repair a PC is re-partition and format the drive whether it needs it or not to get rid of all the factory junk that does nothing more than slow down a machine. Plus to start a new with fresh shiat. Then you know what's there...
I re-partitioned my HD and did a fresh install of Panther without enabling journaling. This a less than 1 month old PB (see sig) I did this to try out YDL but alas it's a no go. Anyway now my Panther seems way more snappier and responsive than before. Could this be just because of the journaling...
I installed that sidetrack proggy. It is a good thing. I'll just have to live with accidentally tapping now and again on the road. I can't believe more folks don't wan't an adjustment for this. Maybe we can hope for an update or request it from the sidetrack developer.
Oh and I did download...
