ok, but HOW do I use subtitles in VLC? Where do I get the subtitles, and how do i select the subtitle? Do I have to use the same name for the film and text, just unlike file-ending or what?

so there is no option in adding the subtitles afterwards? I was on a windows-pc (yuk!) and used VLC to play a movie. Then I had no problems on adding the subtitles to the movie, just selected it as subtitle Also; which program is the best to play movies?

Hi Not sure if this is the proper forum, but how do i get subtitles on my downloaded movies. Most of the movies are .AVI-files. Which program do I need and where can I find the subtitles I'm looking for. Thanks
