I'm trying to setup a 'guest' user for family that is coming over. I have 3 volumes (OSX, OS9, Work). When they log in as guest, I don't want them seeing my 'Work' volume. I can turn off priviledges so they can't open files, but I'd rather just have it disappear. Is this possible?

I've got 10.1.5 running and finally installed on my Lime Imac and just realized that Energy Saver doesn't have the option to turn the computer on at a set time anymore like 9 had. Does anyone know if this is still possible under 10? Shareware app? Thanks.

I'm still working on it. The problem with Carbon Cloner is you have to have the extra hard drive space to create the copy. I networked my two macs and am using Timbuktu to transfer files to the old guy, then I'm going to CC the system. We'll see.

Can someone tell me how or it's it possible to use Terminal to connect to my remote server's shell? In OS 9, I usually use Nifty Telnet, but I don't know what to use for X. I'm still learning, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Ok, I'm upgrading my 333 Imac with a 7200 drive. I already have OSX and 9.2 running smoothly (well, as can be) but that 6 gig drive is getting cramped! What I want to do is take out the hard drive, put it in my old faithful PowerComputing (which will has a ATA adapter and has the new drive...
