I'm having the exact same problem on my mac mini, with 10.5.6. If anyone knows a solution to this i'd be very happy to find a resolution. however before i reloaded the OS, it was working, which was running 10.5.2, incrementally updated to 10.5.6. after reloading from the original dvd (10.5.2)...
