Gave it a try--no luck. Only had 2 rules in place--one or Apple news & one for writing colors--got rid of them both. Thanks for trying. Dr Mike.

VirtualTracy I have added my own sound bite "You got Mail" -- real original eh!! All is set fine in the preferences. The incoming mail sound plays occasionally-- about 2-4% of the time, so I know it is active--sounds fine. All was normal until about 4 weeks ago or so & I cannot relate it...
