I've tried disk utility repair from booted installation disk but it doesn't seem to have cured the problem will try SUM version now cheers

When using Mail on an intel osx macbook leopard, if I go to 'show colours' so that I can change font colours of messages, the program just quits. How do I sort that out? cheers K
