I just got a new ibook im happy with, but i wanted to watch a movie with my girlfriend at the beach with headphones, so i had to use 2 headphones and a splitter, but for some god forsaken reason i cant find a way to make OSX use mono sound so i we can both hear the movie. We ended up watching it...

pth helmet doesnt fix this problem, safari isnt running 2 identical gifs at the same time that is the issue... dlloyd, i am using 10.2.8, dont i need a g5 to use 10.3.x?

I dont know why, but safari has this habit, of only animating 1 gif of a kind on the screen at a time. personally this is irritating because i have a BB where the catagory images are animated gifs, and when its animated, it means someone posted there. its animated to get you're attention. But...

wait.. how do i get skin a dock to work when there is a preferencepanes folder in my library? im running 10.2.4

i think i saw an app that did it for 10.1 but i cant find the link anymore and im currently on 10.3 (so im not positive it'll work anyhow) Anyone know of anyway to customize the dock? if possible id like to make my own graphics. :D

im not trying to just change 1 icon.. i know how to do that, its the sam since like mac os 5 or something.. but i want to know if X supports a way to change the standard folder icons; so when i create a new folder, it automatically has my new icon on it. if not, is there a way to globally change...
