Ok, so after about 30 minutes or so of letting it just sit there it finally logged in. Any one know why this would happen?

I'm having an issue with a particular user when he logs in. It allows him to enter in his username and password, but after about a minute or so the screen freezes and only the little spotlight is showing in the upper right of the screen. I've let it sit for a while, thinking it may take just a...
