I have been hesitant to upgrade to 10.2.3, and now 10.2.4 is out. I am using Lightwave 6.5b with a GeForce4mx on a Dual 1Ghz Quicksilver box. After reading about issues with OpenGL for Certain Maya users. I'm doing my Senior Project with this, so i can't risk updating the OS only to break my 3D...
ok guys, please remember to tell all your qualms directly to Apple, go to the OSX feedback and tell them the problems you've had with iChat. I'm assuming they've recognized these problems, but it's nice to make sure they know that we know, and that these bugs are more proliferous than they...
if you want to change their names, or at least how it shows their names, you get info on the person, and then edit their address book card. From there, whatever name you give them, is how they'll appear in iChat, including your own name.
yeah, I've had friends listed as idle, although they're officially away and stuff like that... relaunching would temporarily fix the different problems, but they would soon re-appear, like sub-sequent messages not appearing and such
ok, I've been having lots of trouble lately with iChat (it'll be a great app once it works right). It stops getting correct updates of people's status, and stops recieving replies from people. Am I alone with this problem?
yeah, I know about the recall thing. My dad's been using those adapters solidly for years now, never had any problems. I can check to see if they're the correct model numbers with the issue though.
If you're interested in it, I've still got it?
no. Unfortunately, we're still running on AOL at our house, no network yet. We'll try taking a look at preferences and other things, and see what we can do, My mom will hate having to delete preferences, she's got all sorts of hotkeys set for different things to keep her moving.
I doubt it...
yes, the copy we have is quite legal. We've also been using the 2001 (also legal). when it crashes, it just goes poof, like when most UNIX apps crash. whatever was there just vanishes. it has gotten to points where it does it multiple times a day.
I, personaly, havn't had any problems on either...
ok, my family members are being driven nuts by Word X. I moved them all over to OSX, only to hit one very annoying brick wall. My mom is a writer and depends heavily on it, only to have it set her seriously behind. Does anyone know how to get this M$ beast to be stable???
