So the Migration Assistant will convert the mails to the proper format, i.e., .emlx files rather than mbox?

OK now I'm confused. Flying Meat says the migration tool should work but then you say the old emails will NOT transfer? We replaced some G4 iMacs with the new G5's since we updated Quark to 7.02 to handle a new template design and the required processing speed and memory.

No, not exact. The box does have 2 internal drives, and 1 external. The 2nd internal has almost no data. The external is used as a backup (using Synk) but it's not an exact bootable copy. There's no way to stop this phenomenon from occuring?
