Someone has told us, that we have to take out the extra RAM chips that we added, leaving only the native ones. Have anyone heard of such a situations?

Hi All. We have one of those standard iMacs, we just had added some more RAM in there. We tried to install the MacOSX on it. The installation went smoothly. But when iMac reboots it shows the grey apple on the screen - the picture is damaged - some random lines in it. And stops there. First...
