I'm interested to know if 10.2.8 updates everyone's flash player to 7... If you know for a fact you had v.6 or older before the update and now have v.7 please post. It's interesting that Apple is distributing a flash player update. I bet it's because there are improvements specifically related...
Can anyone verify if their Flash plugin was updated to v.7? Someone mentioned it in another forum.. The easiest way to check is go to macromedia.com and see if it tells you to upgrade. This would only apply to those that didn't already upgrade their player....
Thanks.
that may not be a total scam, but i'm not giving $250 to anyone for a chance.
if you are looking for a deal, what's not a scam are education discounts.. Go to your local college apple store and check out their prices. On Monday I'm picking up the dual 867mhz i paid $999 plus tax for. Just...
If the auction ends without any bids, then I am definately open to lowering my price. Although I have received a couple of emails about that already, so you'd probably be competing with a few others.... What kind of trade-off?
Any graphics professional interested in a pretty nice domain for their portfolio site?

the ipod is not expensive at all - when you are strictly comparing stats and features... there is no doubt in my mind that the ipod is worth twice as much as the other sh*t out there (nomad/minidisc/etc.)
BUT
as a lifestyle product, and next to my more "needed" products, $400 is a lot of...
any chance to bash iomega and I'll gladly jump at it... I've seen click of death in at least a dozen macs, and as recently as a few months ago with a 6-month-old-retail-purchased-external-USB-zip.
their products still blow.

I am a designer for a small graphics studio. 1 year ago we all got new 733's and at the moment we are all OS9/quark. We have hired some new employees so they will be getting hand-me-down G4s, while I am waiting for the new PM to come out for my machine. The plan is that I will dual boot OS9 and...
My Blue & White baby is for sale:
I have custom painted the case on the inside of the plastics with a darker blue so the case actually appears true Blue instead of Teal. I have pics if interested.

I am working on purchasing a large supply of OEM Geforce3's, made by the same manufacturer of Apple's. These have a single VGA connector, and no other output options. They are AGP 4x/2x compatible, and are 100% compatible with OS9/OSX.. These will enable QE, and can easily beat out a Geforce...
I played the original Jedi Knight for about 1.5 years straight, one of the best games ever in my opinion. I'm sooo glad they announced this and that I can play JK2 on my OSX box. I also just bought a gamecube so that is rad news also..... YESSSSSS
For server purposes I would suggest the Beige 333, leave out the Rage 128 card and use the stock Rage pro for display. Put OSX server on the 9 GB drive and use the 18 GB for serving files. You would have a seperate SCSI channel for your files and the drive is an IBM Ultrastar server rated drive...
