I love iTunes, but a big problem for me is that it doesn't let me choose a naming convention for my files, like track-Artist-Album-Title. The ability to format the file name like mp3rage uses would be nice.
One way to use cron with the module would be to put something like curl http://someurl.com/myscript.php in your shell script. I've used this often to trigger php scripts on machines that are using php as a module on both apache and IIS.
My memory is a little fuzzy,(That's what a fine merlot will do) but I believe the beige g3 is a supported machine. If it won't install normally you can go to [URLl]http://www.otherworldcomputing.com[/URL] and download their hack to allow you to install on non-supported machines

I would like to have an Applescript or if need be a shell script run at shutdown and/or logout that will do some basic house cleaning operations. Is this possible? How would I go about this?

I've searched and have yet to find out what my problem is with this script loading a font. I've asked around on some of the php boards, but have yet to find a solution. I guess not enough people are using OS X for serving yet. If some one could shed some light on this I would really appreciate...
