I have read some of the threads re compaction errors in mac.mail. Ive just started getting this. My G4 (80gb) has generally been slowing down of late, crashing etc. But memory available is 21gb so i shouldnt be suffering from memory starvation yet should I? Also some threads refer to compaction...

I followed advice given to Jackie about Compaction error, dragging mail file to desk top. I created new folders to replace those in the old mail folder. But when i tried to import only one folder imported successfully. When i tried to choos the others a message says mailbox not found or invalid...
