Yeah smitty Mac OS 10.2x Disk copy doesn't see my burner, yet it works with toast and iTunes fine. It is supported in Disk copy, but only the original firmware is listed and my drive has a newer firmware...I tried to flash back on a pc but couldnt find the Original firmware that apple's site...

We fixed it, he used toast to burn the DMG and not Disk Copy. Somehow that messed up the CD from booting properly so it gave a kernel panic i guess. Im running panther now, and it seems faster than 10.2.8 :). And the Quartz Extreme Hack still works :) nice stuff. Thanks for the help guys
