thanks, that's my point exactly. we (the customers) notice, but because something so simple as a mail server "running in the background" it's never noticed til we make noise;what can ever go wrong? come on .mac--show us how stable you are.

It seems that occasionally, the response time to get messages from the .mac mail server takes much longer than it should. Apple should place a system metrics page indicating status, downtime, throughput, etc so we could see if it's "them" or "us". (maybe encourage better performance if the sys...
