.mac mail status page

It seems that occasionally, the response time to get messages from the .mac mail server takes much longer than it should. Apple should place a system metrics page indicating status, downtime, throughput, etc so we could see if it's "them" or "us". (maybe encourage better performance if the sys status is transparent)

in your mail or webmail? i don't bother because all mail accounts are running on background most of the time ..

sorry not to specify. In my regular email account running through mozilla.

it could be mozilla then as well. in mail.app the mails get in and out all day, i haven't noticed major trouble with it.. :-/

I've just noticed that the .Mac servers in general are down again and that includes email.

thanks, that's my point exactly. we (the customers) notice, but because something so simple as a mail server "running in the background" it's never noticed til we make noise;what can ever go wrong?

come on .mac--show us how stable you are.
