if i go to open emacs from the terminal, it opens it within the terminal window. i do not want that. how do i do it from the terminal, as if i were to double click on the program icon within my applications folder?

the menu where the wifi signal, bluetooth, battery level, date/time is. was wondering if there was a way to change the order of them. somehow i changed the order of them where the date/time is to the left of the battery. i'd prefer the date/time to be to the far right. any ideas? -rob

just to let you guys know. you can now use Mail w/ gmail. login to gmail, go to settings, then click on the 'forwarding and pop' tab. follow the directions from there :cool: ;)
