Why is this so hard to understand? Computers without the required video cards will run 10.2 at least as fast as now and probably faster. Those with the supported cards will get an additional speed boost. Nothing will be worse off because of QE.

Actually, I think the iBook already is the "eBook". To do something different Apple should bring out a thinner, lighter laptop (under three pounds). Maybe have it a deep metallic blue or green. This would contrast with the current iBook which is already designed for schools.

I would suspect the printer has a problem. If it is failing the same way when used on different machines I'd say that is strong evidence of a printer problem.

I still use Coaster in OS 9 to record automatically via Applescript. Coaster is not migrating to OS X. As far as I know the few apps which can record in X are not scriptable. Besides, there is no control of the Griffin iMic in X yet.
