Hmmm... no replies yet. Weel, my DivX plays fine. I still have to understand what is the difference between an avi embedded divx and a mov embedded one.

First of all... today I ripped my first DVD to DivX. It feels great, and I love my humble Mac (see sig) for coping with it! It worked almost flawlessly.. I just had to split up the DVD into 3 VOB files, because otherwise I got an error message. Then just a little validating, and re-syncing...

I don't care if it's going to be Moto or IBM inside my next machine. I'm just excited to see things evolving! BTW, my Aprilia Leonardo MkIII rules, really!

I dunno guys... my G3 350 MHz is fast enough for normal use, including FlashMX, which runs beautifully! Of course windows resizing is slooooow, but this seems to be an issue on much faster machines too. I only need more power for digital audio.

"combine" as in "edit"? In that case you only need to convert the files with QT Pro to DV format, and then import them in iMovie to edit. Simple.

I love GC, but I have a minor gripe. When I save a file in jpg and set the quality level I can see the size in the preview window. After saving the file, its size is actually bigger, like WAY bigger than the previewd one. Maybe it's just some preference or maybe a bug. Anyone else noticed it?
