I created and iCal event, and set an email alert so that it would email me at 8am the morning of the event. It did... and then continued to email me throughout the day, and continued for the whole week! So far I've received about 30 emails regarding this event. How can I make the emails stop...

It didn't work! Terminal is not in my login items and the "restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps" box is unchecked (I assume that's the one you mean). I restarted and here Terminal is again. Any other ideas?
