Open the folder in question in list view, then go to view in the menu bar and choose "Show view options", or Command-j and check the box marked"Always open in list view". Now every time you double click on that folder it will open in list view.

I think that printing behavior is a Safari problem that many, if not all users have experienced. You have to make the text larger with the text size arrows to make it print larger. I have an Epson 777 printer and it also prints tiny text unless I increase the size.

I use CD Spin Doctor that comes with toast. You can even filter out pops and what-not. It works fine for me.

The little pull-down menus in appliations that let you hoose a number of choices doesn't work as of Panther upgrade. I'm running a 500 mhz. Indigo, CDRW iMac with 256 mb ram. If that makes any difference

It should go away when you choose another folder, under the "Choose Folder" command
