i grew up with Word Perfect. an app far more superior than ms word (on the pc)... but thanx to microsoft and their tricks its been pushed aside.... hope same thing doesnt happen with OpenOffice !!!

i think its crap, just like any other microsoft product!!! and its full of security holes !!! sometimes theyre patches, sometimes there not.... and while you are using Office on your make you are constantly at risk :)

the brushed metal is not going away. its a shame that some ppl who either have no taste or any clue in the design department or both, keep on complaining bout brushed metal. the platinum theme is a nice idea to replace the rest of the cheap aqua theme (eg mail.app) :)

yeap me too actually :) i buyed my 40GB 4G iPod because it was the most full featured one. otherwise i would have bought and iPod mini. it wasnt a matter of price... but i sure would give a bit more for such an iPod and would be really annoyed if it came out soon :P

theres no clutter issue, the mail.app is essentially the same!!! the drawer was there before but every1 had it openned, noone closed it because u needed it, its important for managing the app... this change just makes it more beautiful, and removes the problems with the tray when using expose :)

if that looks to u at all like the platinum theme then its because MS coppied apple(once again). of course they copied the brushed metal theme.

dont get too excited fryke, noones changin preferences in rumour sites :) macrumours and appleinsider are still way better than urs :)
