While I agree that PM is on its last version (maybe) FM has a very good following and can't be replaced by ID for long technical docuements. I've read that Apple has done a good job in optimising Pantha to speed up GUI, mutl-threading and support for quad-CPUs.

I had the same problem with Illustrator until I changed over to Suitcase. The latest version is stable and the auto-activation plug-ins are far better than FR. As for Quark, they have had Apple's engineers helping them alone the way so they should roll out a stable product.

I use QXP 4.11 in classic under 10.2.4 but I don't save to a serve. There is a great reader's forum over at MacIntouch <http://www.macintouch.com/quark01.html> regarding saving QPX files to a serve and the associated problems. Good Luck!

I've had the same trouble and the only solution I've found is to turn off Suitcase's Classic Bridge and use ATM Deluxe with Auto Activate "On". Hope this helps...
