Both are in the same subnet, i can't find the mac in the "netzwerkumgebung" but i can ping him, the macs dns name is the machine name isn't it? Where can i set the workgroup for macs? Thanks in advance

Hi Zammy-Sam, thank you very much :) Windows Sharing is activated and no firewall is between the two machines. I only want a direct connection to a shared folder on osx. When i connect from osx to windows through smb i can choos a folder which i want to mount. I want the same vice versa.

Hi all, is there a way to mount shared osx folders under windows? The other way is working fine over the smb-protocol, but how can i see shared osx folders? thanks in advance Dirk
