he mac mini is your best bet. IT has the fastest ram and bus speed (too bad it's not 800mhz) and other features. Also i think it is cheaper than a G4 1ghz. IT's hard to not get it because of the size of it though... you can take it anywhere.

Smooth scrolling, despite it's name, makes scrolling even choppier than it already is... I don't like it at all.

Running 10.3 on a G3 in the first place is tedious. I don't even suggest you try it... At least get more ram. 192 mb isn't going to cut it.

apple icon - about this mac - display/agp cards, don't remember - find it some where in there. I never knew they made 256 mb video cards for macs... I assume you are talking about a geforce 6600 or something better, because getting a slower card with 256 mb of ram is a waste.

That's every reason i use it too. Especially the smooth and quick scrolling, somethign that is really bothersome in all the other browsers.

I have an old compaq windows 3.1 computer from 1992... IT works fine and has an amazing 8 mb of ram, 270 mb of hd space, and 1 mb of video ram!
