Just for the record, it IS possible to make your Mac OS X Mac start up at a pre-defined time. Just start Up in OS 9, set your time in the energy saver control panel, set your startup disk (or folder) to your OS X one, and PRESTO! Your mac will start up in OS X!! @gus
