One way is by using Toast. Another is to create disk images and burn from the finder. iDVD will not recognize an external drive. Toast will.

I believe that support for DVD+R/RW is built into Panther. All my discs read fine (+ & -) without any problems whatsoever where previously I had difficulties with Jaguar. Hope this helps.

Have all the songs been selected (with a tick in the checkbox to the left of each song)? This happened to me once when I inadvertently deselected my entire library. If they are, you have to select them all for iTunes to play them all. Hope this helps.
