MacMail is pretty great at adding RSS feeds - just click "+" and enter the rss url. Pretty sweet! And you can track them all along with your email, and mix them all together if you prefer. I keep them as separate folders under my Mail folders.

Did you try my suggestion on the tech forum here? That should work a treat as long as your drum track is in a format Garageband can recognize.

I promise, no terminal stuff here. :) If you are trying to change what your computer is seen as on a network, just go to System Preferences/Sharing and change the name in the top entry field (should be something generic like "MacBook Pro" or "My Computer" or similar).
