Just bought a new Ibook today. Ok so I should be happy veery happy. But I´am not. First I thought that the Macs are supposed to work just by plugging them in. Dosent the add say "just 10min to get connected." I realized that my computer came with nothing installed. I really dosent mind so...

then there are still people that say that it´s worth it because its so fun to play with system. My friend uses to say that Pc users like jerking off with the computer. Ok. If your living with your mum and your time dosent cost any it could maybe be worth it but if your time costs money....

No kidding. Photoshop 1.0 is usable. It got levels, curves, image size, dust&scratches,histogram, and the basic selection tools (+ some more that I can´t remeber) if I remeber correctly. So basicly all you need. A lot better than paint for windoze. Would probably be impossibly to find ps 1.0...

No I mean Photoshop 1.0 :p I also have Photoshop 6.0 but I have paid for that one. Photoshop 1.0 is amizingly usable. Okay no layers but all the basic adjustment that you need is there.

I downloaded photoshop 1.0 from a warez site. Fun but still illeagal. All you "clean" designers out there. How many warez fonts do you have on your computer?

Our school got one dual g4 500mhz with osx 10.04 I agree that it could be faster but I´am satisfied. Now our school got new pentium4 1800mhz computers with xp profesional and 512 mb ram and they are dead slow compered to the g4. I thought xp is a revolution in speed and stapility. LOL

I like the Fire app. It got Aim, Icq, irc, jabber, msn, and yahoo all in the same package. I have just used it for MSN and it works enough to be usable, with some limitations tough. But its free :)

Youre right. The problem isnt macromedia but macworld.com. They have a page were they list carbon ready apps. Freehand is amoung them.
