    Apple Keynotes

whitesaint, Thanks so much for providing this. I didn't think I'd ever get to see this keynote. I've been collecting them for years but have never come across this one. Thanks again.

    New mouse

Ripcord, you've been on here a long time, longer than me, so I respect you much. With that said though, you gotta realize that it's soooo nice to now be able to use a multi-button/function mouse without that "I am betraying apple" guilt hanging over your head! Know what I'm saying?

What other Apple "no-gos" are left?

It's still a one "button" mouse though, everyone seems to overlook that Apple has done a perfect job of mixing the concept of a multi "button" mouse with its original design of just a mouse that looks like it has no buttons. Idiots will still say, "where is the button?" If this has errors it's...

    New mouse

Why did apple modify the mighty-mouse page in the "Now Hear This" box. It mentioned an internal speaker before and now it's changed to just something about audio feedback.

    Apple sued for iTunes interface

They probably should have acted, I don't know, say WHEN iTUNES CAME OUT.

    OS X Leopard

Post count has nothing to do with it, I was just sticking up for Fryke. But yeah I agree, stop it!

    OS X Leopard

Haha. Pismo, joined May 2005, comes in here and calls Fryke (someone I'd consider an original) a forum Nazi...ROFL....Times like these remind me of when I was a kid and I would have to go to church every Sunday and it was always the same, good people there. Then Easter would come, and the whole...

    Apple's capturing methods.

Ever since I watched the Tiger demo movies on Apple's Mac OS X section of Apple.com I've been fascinated with how well they are captured. I used to play with Snapz Pro a while back, but these movies that Apple has posted seem to be extremely fluid and beyond Snapz capabilities. One could argue...

Should Apple Ride the FireFox Wave?

Lets just let Apple take nice features from Firefox. I'm fine with that. Let that pirate flag wave, baby!

    iPod range re-shuffle

Why does the front page say "in three new colors" for the mini? Are they slightly different tones of their original hues? Thanks.

    H264?

Feel free to experiment with H.264 right now by downloading "FFMpeg" on versiontracker.com or macupdate.com. It's pretty good but I think the apple implementation will be easier to set up, there's a lot of features in ffmpeg that take some knowledge going in to know what they do.

Now that G5 iMacs have been received...

Thanks for your reply. I found out about the fan thing today so that was nice to know. I also found out that 10.3.6 has been causing some crashing issues on other machines too. So, the only real problem is this slight screen discoloration, otherwise this computer is absolutely fantastic...

Now that G5 iMacs have been received...

Well, despite it being the best computer I've ever used...my iMac has all the typical problems that you read about on the apple support forums. Fist I noticed a yellow discoloration at the top left hand side of the screen. After running software update and rebooting, the computer would hang for...

Now that G5 iMacs have been received...

According to UPS the 20" clocks in around 36 pounds. Mine is "out for delivery" but I am stuck here at school! I'm hoping it doesn't arrive until I get home. I'm really excited though. :)

Now that G5 iMacs have been received...

I'll be joining this party as of this Monday. It sucks for now because my computer is in my home city but the UPS location is closed on Saturday and Sunday. I'll report back soon. 20", 1.8 Ghz, 512MB RAM, 160 GB HD

    iMac ?= flat eMac

It's actually kinda interesting that the iPod is both white and metal since it's not really aimed at consumer or pro, it's like a for anybody kinda thing.
