You should head over to iFixIt.com and look for a drive that suits your model. It might be the same drive as in the iBook, but you can get the models that will work, and then shop elsewhere for the drive model that you want. iFixIt's prices are a little high, frankly.

You sure you don't have that backwards? Glossy is worse outside. The glare makes working outdoors harder. Also, lights behind you in a room will cause glare, too. They've been using glossy screens on PC laptops for a while now, and I don't really care for them much.

When you install a new hard drive, you first need to boot with the install disks and then bring up Disk Utility. Partition and format the drive, and then close Disk Utility. Now, go back and try to do the install. Your new hard drive was probably not formatted for a Mac, as most new drives are...

Well, yes and no. If you can still find Front Row Enabler (the developer removed it after Apple sent a C&D letter), you can install Front Row after you download it from the Apple Web site. I have it running on my iBook right now (though I hardly EVER use it).
