Where is front row?

if you don't have a built in isight camera, then no front row. sorry.
Well, yes and no. If you can still find Front Row Enabler (the developer removed it after Apple sent a C&D letter), you can install Front Row after you download it from the Apple Web site. I have it running on my iBook right now (though I hardly EVER use it).

i had it on my powermac. it's largely useless without the remote, and it's kinda slow any way.
Yeah, it is a bit slow, but Salling Clicker, along with my Palm T3, gets me the remote that I need. However, I bought Clicker mostly because I thought it was cool software, and I used it to test it out a few times. I haven't touched it since, and rarely use Front Row. It's a novelty, if you are a portable user. I think it works nicely if you have a media center, or a large display, and need a remote because it's across the room. I'm also not really a home entertainment buff, so that stuff doesn't appeal to me as much as others.
