yah. the drive can work with usb 1 - it reads just fine.

it's a memorex 52x32x52x usb 2.0 drive. i can read cd's just fine. i found a FAQ stating that i should disable the USB/Firewire authoring support in the extensions, and enable all the toast extensions. i did that and i'm still having trouble.

Hi, I have a blue and white g3 and i need to be able to burn cds on a usb cd drive. roxio toast 5 won't detect the cd drive. Thanks.
