The Windows PC does have the Windows firewall running. It's a pretty light firewall, so I didn't think that would make a difference. I'll try disabling that. Any other advice if that doesn't work?

Check out http://www.sightspeed.com/. It's a program that works great on Mac's. It also works on PC's. A friend of mine wasn't able to chat with a friend in a hotel in Hawaii with iChat, but we used SightSpeed and it worked like a charm.

What are all of the possible causes that would cause a Powerbook G4 1GHz (Alum) to only have the ability to boot up in Safe Mode? Also, is it easy to upgrade the combo drive to a SuperDrive?
