Fully behind the "Apple getting more behind podcasting" idea. I'd take it even further, to get Apple to build more support for podcasting and audiobooks into iTunes and the iPod line (with labelled chapters, etc). Other things that I'd do: Newton 2 - kickass phone/pda/PMP Better color choices...

Panther is a great operating system. The only thing you'll regret is the extra money (not really that much money) you'll spend when you move to Tiger. Kap

You don't even really need an external mic. A friend just used the built in mic of his 12" PB to record a presentation and the sound came through fine. Kap

I think this is overstating. All Macs have FW ports in them Digital video cameras still largely support FW All iPods still support FW The iSight is still a FW webcamera Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II and other high end digital cameras support FW etc Plus, What other technology can compare with FW 800...
