i'm running 10.2. when i reboot in 9.2, there are a whole lot of "Mac OSX Aliases" on the hard disk. Can I delete these or not? they're just like plain document files and are only a few K in size.

this has plagued me for a while - is it or is it not possible to network my mac (10.1.4) and my dads mac (8.6)? we share a cable internet connection with a router and stuff and it SOMEtimes works and sometimes doesnt etc. i end up just rebooting in 9 and letting his get stuff off me that way...
