World Of Warcraft private servers on Mac???

The stuff is WAY too expensive? For what you get, IMO the whole package is way overpriced

    Warcraft III Mac/PC connection

Also, can you connect on the normal system level? Like, pinging the respective other computer or access shares? Maybe check if your IPs are configured right, same subnet mask etc

World Of Warcraft private servers on Mac???

I don't know if discussion of this topic is welcome here in the forums, but it does work definately. Not with all though, as some require you to install certain patches that are often only available as Windows executable. Private servers are usually not half as crowded as Blizzard ones, which...

    Trouble deleting a "nonexistent" file

No, you misunderstand. :) Start your Mac from the System DVD, and open the Terminal from the System DVD. When the installer starts, you can start applications from the menu-bar at the top of the screen. I think Terminal is in there as well. If you can access the Terminal from the System DVD...

    Trouble deleting a "nonexistent" file

Hm, this is kind of a far fetch... but maybe if you start your machine from the OS X CD/DVD, and try to delete it via Terminal then? If you feel secure enough with terminal action that is

How to play .m3u files on Mac OSX?

m3u-files are no music files, those are playlist files. The contain references to the actual songs. You can not do anything with the m3u file itself unless you have not all the files it references to. If you drag the m3u into iTunes for example, it will copy all the files of the playlist into...

Vector graphics software for OS X?

Ok, so I want to design my own T-Shirts, but in order to get them printed I need vector graphics as "blueprint" for it. Is there a recommendable vector graphics application (besides Illustrator, which is... well, expensive) for OS X? Thanks for any input :)

    Internet Disconnected on Sleep Mode

It depends. If you have a router that connects it is a bit weird, but if your Mac connects directly it is clear that you disconnect during sleep. Otherwise it would not be a real sleep mode, right? ;)

You could ask the guy using it. *shrugs* But like Scott said, the library probably has their firewall set up so people can not use P2P.

    mac is slow

My brother-in-law told me yesterday "I finally got a gig of RAM for my Powerbook G4. So I can word decently with it now." He has similar specs like, so you might want to consider pimping your RAM

    Enemy territory.

You can find the CFG file under It's a text file, so there should be no problems editing it. You should be able to do the whole name thing there. Can not tell you much further though, as I never really bothered editing my CFG back in the days when I played ET. The declarations for player name...

That's why I would try to do it via the cfg file :) I don't remember where it is stored in detail though. If I find the time after work today, I might d/l it and have a look.

    Enemy territory.

Well basically ET is based on Quake 3 if I'm not mistakin'. You can edit in the required characters into the CFG-file of ET (should work). Basically just put the ^+number combination in front of what you want to color. ^0 -> black ^1 -> red ^2 -> green ^3 -> yellow ^4 -> blue ^5 -> cyan ^6 ->...

Mac the Ripper/Handbrake Applications quit unexpectedly

Well, unplugging your iPod without ejecting is not the best thing to do. I can not really imagine that's the reason why the stuff does not work anymore. Have you looked for the most current version? Have you changed nothing about your OS? Recent updates etc?
