G5 will replace G4, and the G3 in the iBook will be replaced by the G4.
Computer evolution, my friend.
You've still got a sweet machine. And you've been using it while others await for the G4 version--just like I waited to get my PowerBook G4--which replaced the PowerBook G3s.

Dear fryke,
OS 9.1 running on PowerBook 2400/180 works like a charm. I mainly use it as a portable music box after upgrading its hard drive to a 20GB. There are only so much I can do with it since it only has 80MB of RAM.

I'm not 100% certain, however, since I have yet install 10.2 onto my...
I tried to use Disk Utility in OS X to use software RAID with two 4GB SCSI hard drives, one is made by Quatum while the other one is by IBM. It worked. However, OS X Installer CD does not recognize the RAID hard drive.
Anybody wants to guess what might have happened?

Dear Ferrit,
I too don't like Microsoft much, nor do I like the way the company practices its business.
However, no matter how rich another person is, we--with the lesser money--have no right to steal from them.
Using software products to make or earn a living without paying to use...
