To be honest, this probably happened because everytime I open my macbook I press on the isight screen. Its right in the center, next to the indent in the laptop where your supposed to open it. Such poor designing... Anyways. Lately, when I try to take a picture it gets all these little lines...

I know its on my install disk as an 'optional install' but I can't find the disk. (I know... I know... dumbness) The apple online store has a copy of it, but its only for old macs. Does anybody know where I can get this? I'm trying to install Gimp. Thanks :)

I installed the sims the first week I had my computer, and it stayed fast. I only got word and photoshop in the last week... but even when i'm not using them things go slowly.

I only have Stickies as a login item... RAM is memory right? I have 1GB. I don't have very many programs- the sims 2, aim, adobe photosohop, microsoft word, firefox, and limewire are the only programs I have other then the typical macbook programs (safari, imovie, iphoto, etc)

I've had my macbook since april and all of a sudden its slowing down. Not sure if I have a virus or what, and how to find that out? This is my first mac.

Hi. I'm wondering if its possible to customize the dock on my macbook by putting things into sections. There is already the section of everything/trash, which is divided by a line, and it seems like you could be able to make more sections of your own- for games, internet browsers, media things...

I have a canon videocamera that i've connected to my macbook once before. The problem now is that when I hook it up through a USB cable, the macbook doesn't know the camera is hooked up. The camera is acnowledging that its hooked up... but the mac isn't. I'm not really sure what to do here...?

i'm using mozilla firefox on my macbook, and its stuck in french. I tried going to Firefox/preferences/advanced/languages and taking out the francais, replacing it with anglais.... but its still in french. What can i do?
