Fixed. Did a archive and install instead of an upgrade. Apple turds red again. They need to go in for a rectal exam/probing to rid of the cancerous tumors in the system.

I do use the keyboard that came with the computer. I am in the US.

I get no error. The password goes blank after the computer tries to log in. I even rebooted with the install DVD and changed the password too make sure I know what it is.

Hi all, I upgraded my G4 Silver from 10.4.9 to 10.5. I never required myself to login on startup. After up grading to 10.5 the login screen comes up with the only account "Other". Stumped in what to do. I did repair permissions. Any ideas?? Thanks

Try holding down the shift key when starting up. This puts you in bare minimum startup. If it works find third party applications that are trying to startup and remove them ie. accounts startup tab or in the startup folder in system folder.

I installed the new office 08 update and now the ATSSERVER & mdworker are both running at +60% cpu usage. Anyone having similar problems and have a way to fix the problem. I don't even know what ATSSERVER & mdworker are or do.
